* The predecessors of the company can be found back
ever since the enforcing of the first LAW ON TRADE
AND INDUSTRIAL MARKS adopted in the year 1893 when
our country has been Kingdom Of Bulgaria. The company
has been taking care of TM (Trademarks) and later
of the Patents of leading foreign companies that were
present in the Kingdom Of Bulgaria until 1944 which
can be proved by the information about its founders
published in great number of advertisements in the
foreign issues.
** BPO (Bulgarian Patent Office) has been founded
in accordance with the PATENT LAW as of 1993. The
Office registers Patents, Trademarks, Utility Models,
Industrial Designs, Plant Varieties and Animal Breeds,
Topography of Integral Circuits and License Agreements.
*** The IP representative/agent, as a profession,
has been forbidden after 1944 when the Kingdom Of
Bulgaria became a socialist country. All foreign
companies have been represented before the Office
for Patents and Trademarks until 1993 exclusively
by the Bulgarian Chamber of Industry. The liberal
profession of the IP representative/agent has been
officially restored in the Republic of Bulgaria
during the years of the democratic period which
started in the year 1989 and with the PATENT LAW.
